After years of frustrating knock-backs including a near fatal accident, practice rooms burning down and many line-up changes Northern Ireland’s Interrogate finally found their footing in 2005 releasing debut EP Unbroken which garnered the band a huge fan base and cemented their place in the Irish metal scene securing them support slots with established acts like hardcore legends GBH, Slit, Panic Cell, Raging Speedhorn, Las Vegas metallers Hemlock and appearances two years in a row at Glasgowbury, Ireland’s largest independent music festival.

2009 saw the band release debut album Scarred for Life to critical acclaim and play shows all over the country whipping crowds into a frenzy with their uncompromising, no-holds-barred, explosive brand of metal delivered with enough venom to floor a nation. The band suffered the major set-back of losing their lead singer near the end of the year but refused to concede defeat and decided to continue as a 3-piece with bass player Darren Brown taking over lead vocals. 2010 saw the band return, against the odds, to the live circuit stronger than ever before playing some of their best ever shows and touring as far away as the United States expanding their fanbase even further and establishing themselves as one of the biggest crowd-pullers in the Irish underground metal scene!

Influenced by aspects of the hardcore, hard rock and metal genres, Interrogate are continually upping their game, combining untamed aggression with melody and varying tempos in their quest to deliver high quality, adrenaline-pumping music and a high energy and intense live show.

In 2011 the band have just released new mini-album Silence The Fallen and are set to play all over Ireland and embark on an East Coast tour of the United States in support of it. All in all the future for Interrogate is looking brighter than ever so make sure you catch them at a venue near you!
